Someone needs to get Richard Schwinn(now that Waterford is closed, too) on a podcast and ask him how he feels NOW about moving the majority of Schwinn production to Giant in the mid 80’s. I have a buddy that works at the Columbia bicycle factory in Massachusetts. Founded in 1877, and currently located in the 1914-built factory, Columbia stopped making bikes iright around the same time Schwinn moved to Giant, somehow the Columbia factory is still open, still bending, brazing and chroming in the factory they built more than a hundred and 10 years ago. Is there an incident(s) thats triggered this? One of the things i love about this site is that I've never even thought about the need for this. Even the incidents like a certain bike company that only sells mullet configuration's product launch was so much fun that I'd never want that blocked.

It's great that there's competition at the top of the safety charts. POC shells haven't fit my head shape whenever I've tried them on in the past, but Fox does. I'm sure the opposite applies to other people, so competition means more good options for people.
