i understand what he's saying about world cup overall essentially being "world champion" and his personal values\goals being consistency oriented -- but the distinction is that in the World Cup the athletes are racing for teams whereas at World Champs they race for their respective countries. I think it adds a really different and awesome element to this sport. I really like that Gwin is starting to express his own opinions more in interviews too rather than just being the calm little winning robot he seemed to be. I think he's becoming much more likeable (despite his irritatingly long winning-streaks.....).
