I can't comment on the CCDB Air CS, but my friends that have run the standard DB Air weren't able to fix the lack of midstrock/ending stoke issue with a volume adjust spacer. Both of these guys are between 200-220lbs fyi. I am 185lbs for reference. I'd personally get the Manitou or the Fox shock on this bike. The Spitfire's U-shaped leverage curve is very difficult to tune a shock for (according to suspension industry folks I have spoken to).
