10/16/2025 1:13am I've had alot of trouble with my Shimano xt brakes- the first set of brakes I've worked on myself. But after a while I've now got them working reasonably well. I'll probably buy the new hope brakes in the next year. A few tips anyway- - The syndicate bleed guide above is good but I've also always had to do...

10/14/2025 7:37am I've settled into my new digs at uni, and I've been told the uni DMLS printer only works with Alloy so my steel design won't be needed. Bit of a shame, but I'll live, i think I will have to be making my own tubes out of prepreg carbon sheets though. Making my own custom tubes is risky but gives me a lot of opportunities to control more parameters on my build. I'll see how things go from here.

8/22/2025 11:47pm I think that these warehoused frames are the new reactor that the new Nukeproof boss confirmed is coming in this interview- https://www.pinkbike.com/news/interview-clive-gosling-global-brand-mana…

8/12/2025 7:36am Hey VitalMTBers I wanted to solicit feedback from the community to see what (if anything) you'd want to see in a GPS based racing and navigation app. I've spent the last few months building pnnd, a checkpoint based race app for my dirt biking buddies. I'll be expanding these features to be a little more mountiain bike centric in the coming weeks, and am really focused on allowing users to create races, of all types, to run among friends. Races can be public, invite only, or club based, run on a particular day, a range or in perpetuity. Privacy controls...

8/5/2025 12:49am On the Commencal front its bikes like these that will sit around forever. This came out December of 2022. By the time it was shipping transmission was pretty standard for GX builds. So this is a bike with an old drivetrain and a previous generation Ohlins fork. So you are getting a "new" bike with previous generation parts. I have to think this stuff is never going to move and every month it gets worse and worse. https://www.commencal.com/us/en/BT3MTRV5OHEU2.html

8/5/2025 12:07am I got chatting to someone who worked for Meridia at a trail centre, apparently they think that the new owners of Nukeproof are sitting on a huge glut of old frames. Scott are clearly struggling to clear stock too judging by the 50%+ discounts that are still out there. Similarly to the post above me, these are gx axs builds...
