Bizutch is so old his old man stories are now 1/3 truth, 1/3 exaggeration, and 1/3 geriatric fever dream. The only thing missing from his stories about racing Mt. Snow NORBAs in the 90s is the whole class cheering in the end. Out here acting as if he was the only one who showed up at these events when the sport was at its biggest and busiest. Wish I could help ya out... From what I've heard there has been a problem with getting venues that desire to host the event. My speculation is that's one of the reasons it was split in the first place for 2023 is that a venue could not be secured that had a UCI caliber DH track and the ability to host UCI caliber XC races along with Enduro championships at the same location. @hogfly judging by your location you should be pretty close to where XC nationals ends up after the recent Walton Family Foundation/USAC national team press release. 1/9/2023 1:08pm @TrillWill I imagined that Fayetteville/Centennial would end up as the XC venue for possibly even this year and that was one of the big reasons for separating XC out from the gravity events as well as the delay in the announcement. Unfortunately, my son is on the gravity side of things, so we won't get to stay close to home.

And if you look at their other signings like Brad Simms, Fabio and the Japanese trials riders, it’s clear that their strategy is to expand the customer base beyond traditional markets, not to fight over the existing market. Whether that strategy will pay off or not, I don’t know, but it’s clearly the direction they’ve chosen to go.

I was riding at Dyfi bike park a few week back and the whole 50to01 crew were there. Craig Evans was riding a prototype Airdrop bikes frame.

12/23/2022 12:30pm Airdrop makes even more sense. They basically make a DJ, a jib/4X bike, and a 27.5 longer travel bike, which all suit 50to01’s style well.
