I think it’s starting to become common knowledge that YTs don’t hold up under hard/heavy riders. Last year (2019)highland bike park was full of em and this past year I’ve seen significantly less with commencal, specialized, and Santa Cruz nomads all taking over

Yeah that’s nothing new for YT. They took 2 full months to warranty one of my buddys cracked rear triangles and 7 months to warranty another buds frame that came with the bearings pressed into the frame at the wrong angle making them impossible to remove (he even tried using a hydraulic press/puller at an automotive shop and they wouldn’t budge

11/12/2020 10:46am I have been running the wild enduro front and rear and have been super happy with them. I was concern with the soft compound but after 600 miles of trail plus around 10 bike park days they still in good shape. You don't really see them in USA sites, i got mine from chain reaction. Their cost to quality ratio...

The one that get's me is how long some of the females have been riding. I think it's Nina.... she's been riding 3 years or something absolutely shockingly low. I've been riding 20+ and still suck lol

We had the same debate in a local forum regarding F1 and the GOAT there. WIth people claiming Hamilton is not the GOAT, because of X Y and Z. Turns out people have different views on the matter so debating about it on the internet is a completely pointless thing to do. Given your arguments why Minnaar is not the GOAT, I can use the same ones for either Nico, Gwin or Bruni - neither of them has as many wins as Greg does... And we can do this merry-go-round indefinitely. On the other hand, most people actually do say...

I live within 1.5 hours to Schladming, Leogang, Saalbach and other parks. I had downhill bikes since 2006 (and raced "downhill" back in the 90s on modified XC-bikes). But starting about 5 years ago almost all of my friends got rid of their downhill bikes. I'm 45 years old now - so not the typical downhill rider. But also much younger friends (like 30) sold their downhill bikes. The parks and mountain bike regions wanted to bring more people to their parks and regions - not only the "hard core downhill biker". And they had to build tracks to combine...

@chasejj : I don’t ride carbon fiber and thinking about resale isn’t dumb, it’s good forward thinking but from the sounds of it you probably think Roth’s and 401k’s are dumb too huh? I’m guessing your money is buried in the backyard in a coffee can somewhere
