Agreed. That huge flat shelf on the mountain is just unacceptable for a real race track. There are other alignments on the hill that could avoid it, but then you would have to put in effort and not just recycle a track built in 2006.

Racing this track nearly a decade ago was one of the reasons I hung up my helmet and sold my DH bike. Sad to see the horrendously slow, flat sections and momentum killing switchbacks are still in existence.. This is not DH. This is a blown out enduro track at best. Just my humble opinion.

For $2400, a wheelset should have the best everything money could buy, and be delivered to your house by Monk, who then installs them for you and rebuilds your bike while he's at it. Then when he's done, he should hand you a check for the $1000 they owe you. $250 for a rim replacement program? I'm guessing that pretty much covers Reynold's cost on two new rims.
