I remember Sean that ran the US Open & Diablo Mountain Bike Park. He came along and paid riders to race his event. Then the world turned on the guy because he drove a Porsche and wanted to make a handsome profit off a mountain bike park. He may have been an S.O.B. or a total snake for all I know, but the one thing you can't deny is he paid the riders.

I run the AVS guards here in the desert and they've been saving my hands for months. They might look dumb but they serve a purpose. Not sure about these bad boys, wouldn't want to get caught in them when I crash.

Yeah, that frame when it becomes widely available to the public will be sold with a Fox X2 air shock which is a good shock, I prefer a coil shock and swapped it over to the Rockshox super deluxe ultimate coil that was tuned specifically for the 62.5 stroke of the mega and my weight, etc.

Welcome to the world of stitched parts. There's a balance between aesthetics and machine time that has to be struck so that you all don't have to pay more than you already do for the link. You tighten up those step overs and run time goes through the roof pretty quick. 0.005" step overs aren't free.

Our sport has had a massive influx in the last couple of years. More riders, more money, more media attention and as a byproduct more trails. Overall I think this is a good thing. More MTB specific trails are great, especially single direction MTB trails. But there has also been a trend in the last few years to make the most bland, boring repetitive trails when it comes to building something new. Part of this seems to be legit trail building operations getting their hands on power tools. Where once you had to build your trail to work with the...
