2/1/2019 12:04pm Based on the material properties and Guerrilla Gravity's patent, thermoplastic composite is definitely in use. Those wanting to learn more about the family of materials and manufacturing process should check out our Patent Thread.

The Enginerd Added a comment about feature Revolutionizing Carbon Bikes with Guerrilla Gravity - The Inside Line Podcast
2/1/2019 12:00pm Gene, you pointed out why it sucks when the ACTUAL seat tube angle is not listed in most geometry charts, and the limitations of the EFFECTIVE seat tube angle. The effective angle gets slacker as you raise the post on modern bikes where the seat tube is offset in front of the BB. The effect is smaller on GG bikes than many others due to keeping the actual angle steep and minimizing the offset in front of the BB. It's a packaging nightmare to make that happen, but it helps the bike fit better. Also keep in mind that the...

8/2/2018 2:57pm Some sections of that track look so sick. Nice mix of everything; loam, roots, rocks, off camber, pedaling, jumps, compressions, grass, steeps.

The Enginerd Added a comment about feature Mondraker Launches the All-New Foxy 29
5/17/2018 11:39am Most folks do not pedal in the effective angle zone, as that would be where the saddle is at the same height as the top of headtube. Eg, is your handlebar 30-70mm higher than your saddle while climbing? If so, you're climbing in the effective STA zone. Most people have it the other way around: saddle is higher than the handlebar while climbing, which is where the difference in effective and actual seat tube angles makes a bigger difference.

5/17/2018 10:36am Actual seat tube angle on the Mondraker is 3 degrees slacker, despite the steep effective angle.

3/7/2018 1:26pm At 5'10", it is rare for somebody to ride a size Large. 6'1" is the point at which most folks prefer Large, or at 6' with a +1 or +2 ape index.

8/30/2017 2:22pm MRP is a small company. The vast majority of bike riders are between 125-250lbs. For those outside this range, the air fork is still an option. This was always one of the big problems with coil. A company can only justify making so many coils from a cost perspective (EG, there would literally be 10-20 sales of the XXFirm or XXsoft, wouldn't even make up for the cost to get them spun) The other problem with coil is for those who fall in between a weight. No baby bear porridge. Firm is too firm. Medium is too soft. Coil is...

8/4/2017 11:36am Same experience for me as adrennan. And, World Cup DH racers...several levels above all of us. I don't think they're looking for the lightest tire setup, more likely the setup that's less likely to result in a flat tire.

7/27/2017 10:35am If you bet it would work fine to run the fork at 170mm of travel, maybe you can tell Fox you'll cover any possible warranty costs of worn out bushings, and then they might release it.
