You're very entitled to your own opinion, but I didn't hear the same contradictions you did. I've re-listened multiple times this morning and I still can't hear it the way you have. I heard Markus say they knew they were facing tough times but weren't expecting the PE firm to get to a point where they aren't willing to inject cash. The Fire Sale was an effort to get through that specific period without having to ask for more cash. That failed and then they were told 'no more'. As for your previous point, it's not exactly clear to me...

If it wasn't Copper Moon served at room temp from a box, it's not even worth mentioning.

@jeff.brines speaking of the pod. What binding company are you working for? It sounds like potentially a European one looking to get into the US market. I’d assume a small one without a big parent ski company. That would probably mean a touring binding. Alpenflow?

I highly recommend Golden. Mount 7 is world class DH biking with a shuttle road and climb trail to the top. 4000’ descents. It is literally the easiest town to bike in. The climb trail for Mt 7 is right in town. 75% of the trails on Mt 7 are rogue, and many are easy to find. With the climb...

I have a 13 year old MacBook that doesn’t need much work ever, but when it does, there is no question if they will fix it or not. The only thing that can’t happen now is updating the OS. You guys are being dramatic and honestly sound like what is wrong with so many bike shops. Treat people like people...

Well, call me a moron, but this 6’ 1” large frame riding person is going to buy this totally unrideable bike. I look forward to looping out, my front wheel washing on every turn, lack of stability over 8 mph, and curling up in the fetal position in the middle of every ride. I’ll report back.

Evil knows exactly what people want. They know really short riders want really long chainstays, average height riders want medium chainstays and really tall riders like really short chainstays. If you’re a short ride who likes short chainstays, you should look at a different company. It just goes to show it’s rider preference, but riders of a different height, with...
Thanks for the chatter. Medium with 450 stays ordered. I figured if it could be a lighter, more playful version of the Range, then it’s a huge win. The fact that it is mullet, lighter, and not high pivot but it starts with very similar length chainstays and has low AS, means I should like it a lot. Now to...
Interesting to play with it that way. I read about people going long front ends with steeper forks but I can’t wrap my head around it. I haven’t noticed a downside to slack hta. @ntm95 do you notice any downsides? Of course I’ll get used to anything and I know it will crush fast trails, but were you a bit...
I’m going to order a new medium Rallon soon but I can’t decide on 442 or 450mm chainstays. I’m a long chainstay fan for sure, but is 450mm reach and 450mm chainstays crazy!?!?!? (Ermagerd!). One of my most favourite bikes was the hp Range, one bike I had a tough time getting used to was a Pivot Firebird. The Rallon...

I think one thing to remember when comparing to other sports is that 20% of the participants of rampage have potentially life altering injuries FROM A ONE DAY EVENT with 18 people. All these other sports listed are having a couple people die at worst, and probably just as many life altering injuries with hundreds of participants over multiple events...

Thanks for the insight. I judged FWQ and Jr comps for ten years. Starting around the time you came off the tour. There was a big shift, starting with Jrs, about rewarding control and technique over sends. The kids got really dialled. They still eventually would send stuff to the moon, but were usually so on point and calculated. We...

Not showing a crash (insulating people from the realities) won’t accomplish much for rider safety. It will definitely be better for the sport as people won’t be scared away from viewing. Many other sports have matured to be open and honest about the realities and dangers. It is nice, however, that they don’t replay the crash and zoom in on...

I don’t think Orbea has ever suggested switching between DH and enduro. The even list the bikes separately on their site. “ You know your riding style best, which is why there are plenty of options to suit you when setting up Rallon during the purchasing process.” But they do hint at “switching styles later”, but I’d say that doesn’t...
