We carry on to ride bikes for the reason we started as it’s fun Enduro dies at a local level it becomes like gran fondo- participation event but there’s less races Festival style events with bikes, some racing and partying get bigger More e-bikes Brands reduce making 160/170/180mm bikes (enduro) as e-bikes fill this gap 120/130 bikes more popular if you ride a non motorised bike Less dh riders able to get a ride and rightly so if they aren’t good enough Less Instagram “ambassadors” with industry cuts Riding bikes will still be fun

1) New Bike Day! These are awesome any year, but I don't buy bikes that often. (Last one was 2017.) I got a Commencal Meta V5 with Ohlins, TRP, Industry9 and Burgtec parts all over it, and it's been making me ride a lot! 2) Sedona in November. 3) New trails at Greer Ranch, near where I live. 1. No Strava. I toyed with it last year but I didn’t do a single Strava ride this year. Never liked bikes more and never rode better. 2. Shuttling. Rode for years with a crew that didn’t like shuttling but a friend dragged me into it just this fall and DAMN DO I LOVE DRIVING BIKES UP HILLS. 1. Schwalbe Shredda (rear on the front) and Magic Mary (rear and/or front) radials have been awesome in the slop and then unexpected dust on my local steeps in Malvern. 2. More mates getting eebs. They enjoy it and I enjoy it. 3. Trips to Scotland - long old drive, but worth it for the natural stuff in the Cairngorms and the well built and natural stuff in the Tweed Valley. Timely review for me! Trying to decide between these and the Roval Traverse SLII wheels. Haven't seen any direct comparisons, would be great to hear if anyone has ridden both. Mainly interested in ride quality and dampness over anything else. Thanks!
