This morning has been a whirlwind of emotions. Trying to fight back tears and sadness, while simultaneously laughing at some of the adventures and stories. Kelly was an amazing person and I'm fortunate enough to have known him for a number of years. One of the Kelly memories that came up this morning was from 2011 at the US open. I ask because it seems like there are always higher spec models (and some models altogether) that don't get offered in the US and it's a shame. Really digging the MY16 Sanction, it's a ripper! Mark

Did you by chance measure the BB height? You indicate that the BB is low, but the stated 9mm of drop would result in a BB height around 13.75" which isn't all that low. I've measured some other GT bikes that were lower than stated though, so I wouldn't be surprised if this one is also lower than spec. Thanks and great review!

Heal up quick (and well) Sven! That noseslide shot takes me back to the dark days of tiny wheels that would hang up on a pebble.
