Bought the bike as a complete XO1 model but felt like making some changes. started with wheels, brakes, headset and sls spring. Now, before starting the racing season in SoCal I replaced the fork and got new tires.

salut! e exterioara. am taiat un spacer de aceeași diametru ca și bumper-ul și l-am băgat sub el. E simplu, doar ca trebuie sa fii atent sa bagi destul sa nu lovească shock în cadru.

Mai am o singura intrebare. Spacerul l-ai taiat ca sa il pui pe shaft ? Sau ai desfiletat shaftul din shock ca sa-l instalezi ? Sunt curios care e riscul sa sara de acolo daca folosesti prima metoda(taiat si pus pe shaft) in caz de bottom out.

What’s the rear travel with the reduced stroke shock and the cascade link? I’d really like to try the cc link and a coil on my patrol. Never been very stoked on the rear suspension, it never bottoms out but doesn’t feel very plush.

so...the link increases the travel from 160mm to 168mm per CC. I installed it about 3 weeks ago and forgot exactly how many reducers/spacers I installed so I just looked and I have 3mm not 2mm. I corrected that in the post. The reducers take out roughly %4.6 percent from the stroke length and at 168mm travel that is almost 8mm so basically I'm back at 160mm and I'm ok with that, it' enough. For me the performance of the link is what matters and I'm really impressed by it. Sooo much better. Now reducers are needed only if you have carbon frame and DHX2 shock. CC says not to install the link on this combination because the shock might touch the frame and it does, that's why I installed the 3mm. If you have any other combination of frames carbon or ally on any air and coil shock from any brand except the DHX2 you won't need any reducers. I recommend you to get the link first and use it on the DPX2 you have right now and see the difference first.

Salut, ma bucur ca am gasit postarea ta caci tocmai mi s-a fisurat linkul de la patrol(insertiile de metal s-au desfacut din carbon). Eram curios de spacerul pe care l-ai folosit : e interna modificarea sau externa (spacere sub bottom out bumper). Multumesc in avans.
