The forum has spoken.. Dak truly has an international fan base of at least 1 person in many countries.. Your loss, Mondraker. You had a global star that represents the hard working people of the world and you dropped him.. So, besides a bike and sealant sponsor, we need to find Dak some outside the industry money.. I'm thinking he could bank with a good hair product care deal.. But, in all seriousness, I hope Dak finds a good deal for next season.

Women's mountain biking is so lit right now. I hope the ladies are stoked with their riding and the show they put on because it was excellent. I was a little lost in the who is riding whose line storylines in the broadcast, which was a big story in this years event. Feels like the women got 10 years of progression in a single year. I feel like the judging and finishing order was pretty on point, or damn near close to it. Stoked to rewatch all of the runs with my wife again today, she was loving it.

I’m sorry, but Daprela doesn’t ‘deserve’ anything. Racing at a World Cup level is a privilege not a right. It’s beyond just being fast, you also need to have certain aspects of professionalism and be enjoyable to be around. Regardless of what actually happened in the ‘incident’, his continued behavior in the aftermath is uncouth and any team should be hesitant for that alone.

Thanks for the question. Long story short if the rim is unsafe to ride, it's immediately retired and the hub is re-laced to a new rim. I also have to consider the massive loss of time if I send my rider up on a rim I'm not 100% confident in. Not only do we lose a practice run, but it takes me 40-50 min for one wheel build(including taping and insert/tire mounting). I could easily be halfway through a fresh wheel build in the time it takes my rider to do one practice run so if I have any doubt...

4 riders...I stopped counting at 13. LMS only did 5 all week, but I've got some secret sauce to keep air in the wombat's tires😉. Point being that it's the nature of the track.
