A*hole mountain bikers certainly make the sport less enjoyable. And similarly to dirtyberd, I have somewhat distanced myself from the community. There are even times where I have considered selling all my bikes and gear. That said, I stay for three reasons. First, I love mountain biking. Some of my best and truest friends and memories are thanks to mountain biking. I enjoy the challenges that riding a mountain bike brings, and especially love overcoming those challenges. Second, I hope that I can be an influence to counter the a*holes. It isn't the easiest for me, because when I feel...

BHowell Added a new video Cam's Kids - Daddy Daughter Day!
11/8/2019 1:29pm
6 and 3 years old... It's a rad window of time. No longer is a day with the girls all about planning how many diapers and bottles to pack. These days, its all about seeing how many wheeled vessels we can pilot, how many parks we can visit and counting the times they cause me to crack up with the hilarious stuff that comes outta their mouths. Some of the fun vessels we used this day: Kids Ride Shotgun: kidsrideshotgun.com Trek Kid's Bikes: trekbikes.com Staycyc Stability Cycle: stacyc.com Garage Sale Roller Skates: (no website) My bike:Trek RemedyFox 36Fox Float X2Shimano...

I am very sorry for your injury but I am happy that you are back out there getting after it. It's a bummer that other bikers out there have been dicks to you. I know Paul has dealt with his share of off-handed comments, only to have people eat their words. I've never been rude or talked mess to anybody on an e-bike, it doesn't bother me that people ride e-bikes. I was explicit multiple times in the article about that. Since you noted Paul, revisit that paragraph and see that I state to live by the Golden Rule. The...

Mo(n)arch Liked a comment about Feature 2020 Norco Sight - We Ride the Radical New Geometry of this Next-Generation Trail Bike
11/4/2019 10:15am
So to me that bike looks more of a „short travel“ enduro then a trailbike. Am I completeley wrong with that? When I look especially at the geometry of the 29“ version, I see a rather agressive race bike. The size large has pretty much the same numbers as the Specialized enduro and 150mm rear suspension has proven to be able to win the nastiest of EWS races. Really interested on this bike as an allmountain weapon for the alps. Definitely a fan of the geometry. Waiting for a long term review.
