Thanks Jason, Wow! That sounds awesome to have more front tire grip at high lean angles. I'll definitely buy one. Certainly cheaper than the Assegai DH ($112 vs $69). See everybody! You won't get this type of feedback from Pinkbike.

6/6/2024 12:46pm just sent in a fox 40 and a float x2 from a 23MY Tues. They have less than 25 hrs on them and the fork is leaking oil from the air side and the damping side has no compression damping. The x2 is gurgling like a river and fades really quickly. Waiting for warranty while the lift is running hurts...

I freakin' dig how this thing looks and am dying to know how it rides. The serviceability of everything would keep me from ever buying one though. Also not sold on the convenience of that internal storage snake.

Sounds like it’s performing quite well. Top out clunk drives me nuts and is unacceptable for a fork in this price range.

i think it's fair to see this as a copout...i considered this myself. is there a bike that has caught your attention this year? even if you didn't ride it? we've had plenty of bike reviews and test sessions this year that have dug into bikes and their abilities. calling out a single one as "best" just doesn't apply these days. for many riders, a bike purchase isn't about innovation. that capra, even though it's "old", still put moir on a world cup enduro podium this year. a TUES won a world cup this year. new and innovative doesn't always...

Bartlett on a Raw would be super fun. I put one on my firebird plus a hazzard coil and it's a much better bike everywhere.

Maybe what I'll do is take all the riding shots from reviews or test sessions projects and make short shred-edits to go along with them, and then just toss King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard over the riding (stop reading and go listen to them if you never have). I grew up on freeride/moto/skate videos, and those soundtracks are burned in my mind. I need more of that now! Digressing - excited you found value in the test sessions, and I'm looking forward to producing more content like this. And definitely check out Mountain Creek! I spent a week there...

I don’t post post much here but this is a subject I have a bit of experience with. I’ve struck the derailleur a good number of times at both the local enduro race I did and at the CA Enduro series in Ensenada I raced this past weekend. No hiccups with shifting and no broken parts!
