have you had a bad experience personally with canyon? if so, post it here, we don't care and that would help others decide for themselves about buying from canyon. if you're only reading comments to back up your view of canyon having issues, then that's up to you. we are not actual canyon customers, we can not speak to GOOD or BAD customer experiences because we haven't had those experiences. it would be disconcerting if we chose a side to lean on, good or bad, without that experience. it would be disconcerting for us to only focus bad customer experiences...

I don't know the guy but now I feel like I know the guy. Respect to all the trailbuilders out there. Over the years, you've said take this dirt, then put it there ... and then get out of the way while I make magic. My old-man back may hate you but the rest of me does not.

Thanks for the feedback team. One point which might not have been crystal clear in my article. If you cant get the points, you enter via the national jersey. Then travel to your first world cup and if all the stars align and you qualify for finals. Then, in my opinion you have the speed, the talent and you've proved yourself. So you should be able to enter yourself into the following race. Giving 50th place 10 points is bullshit as its those points which dictate whether they race the next race, not their skill and not the fact that...

Well said. A few years ago I got 5th at US Nationals and qualified for my first World Cup. I now work my ass off as a traveling nurse- often on call and overtime and get usually get up at 5 am, train, and then go work a 10 hr shift. Not at a desk. In surgery. Lifting more heavy things. Running down hallways. All so I can can afford to fly myself to any World Cups I’m able to qualify for. Where I am my own driver/mechanics/chef/trainer/mental coach/unexpected catastrophe solver. Life as a privateer is HARD WORK. Thank you...

We think alike, Eddie! The ESC dumped UCI and USAC and banned tearoffs long ago. Then attendance exploded.

to say "no advantage gained" is so subjective and shouldn't be part of the discussion. angel was 10th, dak norton 11th. their time diff was .11 seconds. if angel stayed on a line that kept him in the course (possibly meaning more direction change or hitting bigger bumps), he could have lost that .11 and may have given up a spot and points. his line almost looks straighter than it normally would have been.

Rennie, maybe? It was a long ass time ago and I am am old ass man who falls off his bike a a fair amount so I may not remember correctly.
Nukeproof's Mega line of mountain bikes is named after the original Megavalanche; the mass-start race that has waves of riders careening down snow, only to transition to boulder fields and heinous trails. The Mega was to be the privateer's weapon of choice for the grueling race, meant to be aggressive yet efficient, with a smart spec and thoughtful details for the home mechanic. These days, the Mega is best known for being piloted by Sam f@$king Hill to multiple EWS titles. Sam started on the 27.5-inch wheeled model, later moving to the 29er and continuing with his success. When you...
