Long riding pants for tall people

I'm in the market for a pair of long riding pants, I have a hard time finding pants that fit normally so I don't want to spend $$$ on some new riding pants that go half way down my shin. So, are there any long riding pants that fit taller riders better than others, or brands that make a tall fit? I'm 6'3” and 175lbs, usually wear around a 32 waist 34 leg pant if that's any help.

Check out NF's DP4 pants - https://www.ridenf.com/collections/dp4

They offer a Tall option in medium and large that adds 3" to the standard inseam. Great fitting, top quality pant.. there is also a customizable logo option.

The tall option pants from NF are truly the way to go for us long legged folks. I am same size as Stew and rarely do I wear other pants than the NF. Great products.

I used these cheapies from Amazon* this year and found them quite good. I wish they were a bit longer, but at least they don't look like capris. I'm a long-legged 6'2" and 185 lbs.

Out of all the pants I've tested recently, ION's Shelter pant was the longest. I'm 6'0, typically a 34, but I have proportionally longer legs, so I know your pain. This pant is absolutely long enough for me (and it's a great pant overall, as well!)

I have really long legs and the Fox Ranger in 34 was solidly okay in inseam length and they were just $99 at an LBS when I got them, which is pretty killer.

Here is a shot of that ION pant I mentioned vs the Fox Ranger. I’ve aligned them along the crotch.

This thread convinced me to pop for a pair of NF DP4s and damn, they’re good. I wear 34x34 pants and the LG/Tall fits great. Might even have to cuff them a little.

If you’ve got skinny legs and don’t own pets, the Endura Singletrack IIs are nice, but I’ve got thick thighs and have to unzip the thigh vents to get them on and the durable material they use for the cuffs picks up cat hair from across the room.

I have a 120lb great pyrenees so I guess I should steer clear of the enduras 😂

I went with the NF DP4 tall fit, expensive but NF has a trade in program so they can repurpose them and they will give you a discount on a new pair in return.

I have Endura MT500 II Waterproof, Singletrack II, I have 82 inseam, so that's what I went for, to get that I had to go to Large, but then the waist had 4 fingers worth of extra room, so even with the Velcro straps maxed out I had to use a belt. The ankle area fits with  Space Brace 2 and shoes with gaiters combined.the knee area is a bit baggy, but it's fine, the ankle area is not, it's perfect. pockets are perfect for having phone and keys in, on top of the thigh, so it's safer, and comfortable. Only con I find is the use of coil zippers, as they are easier to damage, and the zippers should be lubed, as they don't move well.

Jeff Kendall-Weed has a video where he mentioned this too. But he tried different models. I commented under his video too.

I tried the Medium Singletrack II jersey, the sleeves are long, even reaching up it covers my wrist and more. I am Large in GMBN jersey, EU Medium in Mavic, XL in Fox, ( L has too short sleeves), L in Alpinestars.
55mm arms measured from armpit to wrist.
41cm above knee
51cm thigh
I am up to 32'' wast. Use Poc Chamois boxer in medium, fits perfectly.
I will work on taking pictures of the kit, but it's winter so won't use the Singletrack II kit until autumn.
But will take pcis of MT500II kit.
Their gloves are same in size as Leatt.
I use Small Leatt, Medium Poc, but I haven't tried the S Endura, but Medium is definitely one size too big, I guess S would fit me. But use Large for thick marino wool liner inside, and L for two liners for -10C or -5C in fog.

The pearl izumi summit pants have been fantastic for me. I'm also 6'3", about 180lb and they easily reach all the way to my shoes. I bought one pair in 32 that are great and snug, and one in 34 for layering during colder weather. They are super versatile for being so lightweight. Just wish they had regular hand pockets as well as "trail" pockets.

Ooooooh, a thread I can participate in!

I'm 190 cm with a 91 cm inseam, so 6'3" more or less with a 2'11" inseam (35,8 inches). I've worn 33/34 jeans for the longest time and had a revelation buying the first pair of 33/36 jeans. Finally pants long enough!

For riding I dismissed pants until late 2021 when I finally took the plunge on a pair of Norrona Fjoras in Large (preface, basically all my jerseys and shorts are from Norrona since 4 years ago as they simply fit and function and I will not experiemnt on it any further unless I will have to). The fit is fine, the shaped knee is above my actual knee of course, but length wise they are OK. If you're an XL kinda guy you also gain a few cm in the inseam (I think their inseams change by 2 cm per size, they used to report the inseam lengths and I think the Fjora in L has an 86 cm pant length).

Pics of the fit (on me):

These are the only pants I've ever ridden on the bike so my experience is not extensive. I would still prefer them to be a few cm longer (or at least have the shaped knee form lower on the pant), but since buying them I am a pants convert when it's under 5°C. Above that I find pants hot and I prefer riding in shorts.

Tall rider here - 6'4'' tho I normally wear 32 inch waist / 34 inch inseam.  After ordering about 10 pairs of pants (including Endura) - none of them fit so I had a pair custom made at DirtyRidesMtbApparel - a UK brand.  I ordered 32 waist by 36 inseam and they are entirely spot on, the extra 2 inches to be sure the pants don't get hiked up with pads underneath.  I got the more expensive pair so about $130 shipped in fall 2021.  These are mostly for downhill riding. They are snug but still a bit stretchy - fit nicely, quite durable and with a thin pad are also easy to pedal in for regular trail rides and they are not too hot for summer riding but are nice for winter too.

I'm surprised by this a well but Kuhl's Rock Renegade (lightweight) pants - again 32 x 36 and they are perfect for cooler but not very cold weather.  They are not technically made for mtb but they are slim fitting, stretchy, and work just like any other lightweight mtb pant only - they fit perfectly and also dont' hike up 1/2way up your ankle & calf while riding.  Have been using these for 4 years now with the only defect being a couple short rips (that don't keep ripping or tearing at all) from slamming). Liked them so well I got 2 pairs.  Really nice and they are an entirely under the radar pant.

Great recommendations here! I often wear my casual trousers that are the most comfortable mostly because it is hard to find good pants. Every time I need to buy pants, I end up addressing duvalfits customer service and making an order there. But I'll check the mentioned stores for sure, thanks.
