I guess Peaty will just ride the first world cup in national jersey and pick up enough points there to see him through the rest of the season.
edit - they have relaxed the ruling on jersey designs so I expect Syndicate to become a trade team again for 2016.

My idea is that Peaty wouldn't actually be a part of the official team. If he's ready to retire, one can assume that he doesn't need any more money. He could sever his Syndicate contract, hang out and race with the team under the National colors and make the financial room for a new, young rider. He brought up Ratty. He's a philanthropist. And a team player.
Retiring because he doesn't need any more money. Good one. He might be retiring from world cup dh racing, but he's not exactly a pensioner yet. He'll still be working in the industry for a good few years to come.

I agree, why would he live out of a suitcase and spend time away from his family just to 'hang out' with the guys. Steve Peat is an ambassador to the sport and the value he brings to the Syndicate demands a salary.
Peaty is a pretty shrewd businessman and you're right he doesn't need the money, but I'm sure he knows his own commercial worth and he certainly isn't going to give it away for free, especially at this stage in his career. He's doing one last season because he loves the sport and he can. My guess is he wasn't happy with how last season turned out with injuries etc and wants to go out on a high.
After following his career all my life it will be really cool to see what he does next.

Seeing as Peaty is a Doctor outside of racing I don't think money is an issue at all
This is pretty freakin' awesome for the french privateer. Met him in Mont Sainte-Anne 2 years ago and had a chance to talk quite a bit about his racing and career, the dude has racing in his blood.
He's fast and has been slowly moving up the ranks race after race, it's gonna be interesting to see how he performs with a full team backing him!
any guesses where she is going to land? she improved her results a lot during the last two seasons - let´s see which sponsor want´s to have her on the team

The article refers to Isabeau joining "two funny guys riding around Annecy", which sounds a lot like Thomas Lapeyrie & Kilian Bron (who are both studying there).
then I guess Sunn it is - that will be interesting.
The two Sunn riders Lapeyrie & Kilian Bron are riding really well. It will be very interesting to see how this three riders develop.
Thanx @Nico_Hrndz as do not speak any french I miss all the french rumors :-)
Full update + video from UR Team on Alex Fayolle signing here: http://www.vitalmtb.com/videos/member/DH-MX-and-Rally-Ripper-Alex-Fayolle-Joins-Polygon-UR,30397/iceman2058,94
Any body thought of when peaty reties there might be a 50-1 team run by peaty with rat and dale and another rider making this the last year of the syndicate just a thought
Be interesting to see what frames they're on next year. I'd say Orange got their money's worth from them. Some great results, but the video edits over the last 2 seasons were class too.
...as they anything beyond to believe when it's a YT bike. Would perfect show they perform a wc environment
Now that would be interesting, wouldn't require a huge investment from from YT unless these new teammates are bigger names than Dirt has had in the past?
Reid seems to run a really budget conscious team and does a hell of a good job, if he had a bigger budget and a bit more factory support paired with some top ten riders he could probably have a team that rivals the big names in terms of media coverage and brand exposure.
Here's that young American on the move......
Heading to the UK???

Rude hinting that he'll be racing DH next year?
They are realising how much we hate the off season like they do, and god it must give them some motivation surely!?
I know Wyn, brook and Loic are all having a ball over this !

I heard Peaty does a few plumbing jobs on the side when he's short of cash.
Never know, Peaty may make more $$ than a real doctor, with all his sponsors that is.

(Again, in French. Sorry mates.)
