Dale is just riding whatever bike was around and that happened to be a Santa Cruz. He won't be on Saracen next year and will be riding for a team with pals.
Regardless of what team is who and who is on what bike, blab blab blah that section looks like so much fun!!! But to be fair I'm very guilty of team speculation it's my football.
It would make sense, Yeti is known for developing riders until they are "too big" for them to support. I don't think anyone expected Rude to come out as strong as he did this year. If anyone has a major increase in value after this season it is him. Would make sense if Yeti continued that trend.. Jared seems like he could be a Yeti for life type of guy he's been through so much with them

contractual obligations are contractual obligations.
It would have seemed like a safe bet the athertons were staying on GT during the redbull foxhunt events, but less than a month or two later they've completely severed ties with GT and are now stoked on Trek.
A rider will rep the brand untill the contract expires, thats what being a professional is, so i wouldn't be surprised if these bikes have been replaced in time for the national series in NZ and Oz.
It's pretty obvious Brook isn't staying with Trek, he usually tags them in his IG posts but has stopped doing so in the last week or so, since the Athertons are on Trek.
Really thinking he'll end up on GT, that is gonna be loose as hell.
Tough to tell with Graves, but why would Yeti just build up a "fresh weapon" for Jared to ride if he's out? Whereas Brook is still on the same wheels he's used all season

That could be Yeti filling "Contractual obligations." and giving him one last frame, as per contract, that he'll likely sell later. If he's off Yeti.

It seems that the Athertons have broken their contractual obligations (The middle finger in the drawing.) and jumped the gun. Someone at GT must have really pissed them off. Or their contract wasn't/isn't on the January first standard.
It just occurred to me that a longstanding dream of mine could be happening. There have been a few Rumours about Greg Minar leaving the Syndicate. The only thing in my twisted mind that could pull him away from his sweet Syndicate deal is a chance to ride for a South African brand in the form of Zerode. Perhaps he's taking his severance check from Santa Cruz and giving it straight to Zerode for a share in the company? He's a patriotic lad. Seems right up his alley. Just a Rumour, just a dream...

Damn'nt. That was in my mind the whole time I was writing. Should I fact check? I'm sure I'm right??? Still a good dream though. Still in the same hemisphere. Still a blatant, untrue rumour!
What if it was just time that Minnar turned his small/huge bike shop into a bike company? He knows what he's doing. He knows who to hire. He could buy into the Zerode patent a la Intense. The future's uncertain... I love the silly season... and starting rumours. NEXT!!!
Zerode doesn't have any patents, the company is way too small for that and it's just a single pivot. A high linkage single pivot, but still a single pivot.
Morewood did leave Morewood a few years ago and started PYGA...

Well played YT, well played...
I think the #1 american could also be Richie Rude, as he won the EWS.
Maybe he joins a new YT DH team?!

I think he's from the East coast. It would be pretty sick if he did though.
Ooooor, YT throws the ultimate curveball, signs both, starts the YT USA Global World Racing team, Rude and Gwin begin every race by jumping through a flaming ring thats replaced the start gate and finish every run with a firework display and the team america theme tune.
Sponsored by Coca-cola and Pepsi and Gatora..... fuck it, just sponsored by Sugar.

Not sure on dale but hopefully on gt. It will be a loose team if it is.
