If you could do one thing on a bike REALLY well, what would it be?

I'm curious. If you could do one thing on a bike really, really well, what would it be?

Would you manual rollers like Wyn Masters or Troy Brosnan?

Would you drift like Sam Hill or Chris Kovarik?

Would you effortlessly style it out like Ryan Howard or Brandon Semenuk?

Would you have super human lung capacity and crush climbs?

...

Personally, if I could trade it all, I'd trade it for one move - the super sideways whip that transitions seamlessly to a laid out table top on the way back down. I dream of that move over and over in my head. Maybe someday it'll be a reality.

if i could not be a puss and keep my weight over the front tire, completely oblivious to what the back tire is doing as i'm going around a corner, i'd be a happy camper. like sam or kovarik.

Corner, nothing feels better than railing turns (bermed, flat or off camber) at high speeds.

Turn. More specifically, turn like Adam Brayton.

Why no option for "Pedal like Lance Armstrong?" I'd give my left nut to be able to do that.

Tough to choose, I want to master it all! Given the option I'd definitely be R Howard in that vid, but there is way more than one skill on display! If it could only be one thing it would have to be railing corners fast a fluidly keeping the tires stuck in and then letting them drift when its needed.

If I could just be Nino Schurter that'd be great. Plenty fast downhill, a monster going uphill.

Very loud, very dry, very audible cracking farts every time I get in the air. On command, and on fire. The kind that make even Queen Elizabeth giggle.

Analyze a given riding situation, plan, then commit like Cam Zink. Pretty much all other skills will go up a notch from there.

Have you been practicing this? Is that how you figured out you wanted these to be "very dry"?

It's pretty much been my life's work. Enough mistakes and you really learn what specifically to aim for.

I'm going to go with Style. in my opinion, style usually comes when you get good and comfortable with the other parts. i.e. you can't add style to a jump until you've done the jump. r.howard put a lot of style into that video because he could already slay that trail.

Manual. I often have dreams where I effortlessly manual everything in site. In the dreams, I always have this epiphany moment where it clicks and I'm like "I knew I could do this!" Then I wake up, and alas, I cannot manual.

I can do most of what I like to do well enough...so if I could do one thing the best it would be to crash gracefully every time Smile

Be Danny Macaskill or Chris Akrigg

I would do that...

Corner like George Brannigan. Most people can blow out a berm, but they lose all of ther speed out of it.
He flies in there, comes out of it even faster, and absolutely demolishes the berm (and occasionally a spectator's nose)
