I'm a fan of Bontrager's Rhythm lock-ons for my DH bike. they're thin. Sensus grips for the hardtail. they wear in nicely and feel thin. i've never been a fan of fat grips for some reason.
Which do you prefer?

thin. I don't have small hands. I do find that the fat grips (ODI Rogue etc) tire me quicker. I barely hold on, so locking it in by my thumb helps with the small, thin grips (ODI Ruffian is my grip of choice).
sensus Salmon Hook grips on the freeride bike, lock type, thin for a lock-on whats cool, great feel.
The Swayze Grips on my jump bike and xc rigs, great feel, thin, long and just feel better than any other grip on the market.
Gloveless- ODI x-trainers.
Animal Edwin's on the kids bike.
Still stuck on ruffians for the dh bike, more out of stubborn habit than anything else. So I guess thin grips all around.
With my small bonzai trimming hands, I can't believe I used to ride with Oury grips back when I was 15. What was I thinking?
For my Suburban i got slim BMX grips by Subrosa, feels like you need the support of upperbody flexibility and can only achive that by tensioning my hands insted of my arms (maybe just jibber jabbish but that is how i feel)
For my Gary Fisher MTB i got Lizard Skins Logo Lock-Ons and it just feels like i get more stability by useing thicker, cant motivate why but sure feels so.
Skinny ftw - ODI Ruffians. I used to run Rogues but would get awful arm pump. I feel like a move to thinner grips helped a lot, which seems to make sense if you think about it: wouldn't you get better finger / grip leverage with less effort if your hand is closed more?
ODi Intense grips nice and thin and the rubber is nice and sticky one of the best grip for people who ride gloveless. I have thin grips because I am short and have small hands and thick grips fell awkward.
Thin grips all the way. I'm 6ft tall but still prefer thin grips, I like that i can "float" the bar in my hands. Was using Ruffian's forever but just tried out a pair of pro xcr's, awesome! Also great without gloves.
I use fat grips on my downhill bike cuz my fingers get shaken out of the skin and I use wtb thin grips on my 4x bike because I like the feedback I get from the front tire. But then again I tend to slide out the front alot on the Downhill bike. Maybe I should go back to thin! But For endurance downhilling i choose fatter grips.
