thats how Minnaars bike was covered when Marshy was taking it to be cleaned at Windrock ( although he used a black trash bag) and it was definitely for protecting the fox testing equipment. And all the fox dudes were headed to Cali the day after the race so it would make sense. protect it from the dust
The link is much more streamlined, same goes for the seatstay around the brake area, the rear pivot is in a different position, the chainstay surrounds the seat stay, not the other way around, there's a cable exit right under the front pivot of the link, the brake mounts don't appear to have threaded inserts, the bend in the downtube appears to be lower down.
Classic 4 bar Horst Link as a new bike. It seems that the best suspension system has been build 25 years ago. And then when I look at that GT I do not understand why Canyon changed their Strive.
don‘t know if it‘s the 2018 torque or an upcoming strive

Wow! Interesting!
I would say on a racing point of view that the torque does not fit for EWS. Maybe a spectral? But 140mm for the high speeds sections and rough terrain of this course seems a bit too light.
A new strive seems legit as they have changed most of their lineup this year. We will see but (personnaly) it would be great to make the comparison between this Strive, the Capra and the Tyee! (I think I love German bikes ^^)

I believe that's Joe Barnes (I think that's a Dude's sticker on the lid) and on his instagram he has been saying that he is riding the Torque a lot and that is what he is racing here I think

Damn I am not a social addict enough! Good point, then it's the torque. Interesting anyway to check how such a bike can handle an EWS, performance wise!

ahhh, nice find guys! was checking IG of the canyon teamriders but couldn‘t find any hinds couple of hours ago
That's a shame... Aesthetically, the Gambler was a standout. Now it looks like 17 other bikes. I guess it just goes to show how well a horst link 4-bar works since basically every other manufacturer is doing it now.
I’m hoping Scott didn’t have to make a new bike due to the BOS product not fitting/working as that would be a huge oversight! All the photos or footage of Brendo up until now he was riding BOS forks but they still rocking Fox shocks ?

The fitting was not a problem for sure. I saw the "old" gambler with obsys and syors shock.

Again, more streamlined, not bent link, no bolts visible, downtube bend in a different position.
So, here's a Dog with eyebrows while we wait.
