So I saw on instagram there is the Archer Components D1x, and it can run an XTR derailleur with an eagle cassette. I was thinking if it would be possible to run a sram eagle system with a Shimano derailleur. I have had many thought and questions about it, but I've thought of an answer to all but one. First...

Sort of old, but Brendan fairclough is using a seam drivetrain rather than a shimano he was using earlier.

This has been brought up before but specialized on magura brakes. This was on Miranda Millers Instagram story It also looks like an e*13 bash guard as well

A good shot at brendogs fork from his insta story. You can see all the dials on the right side. You can also obviously see the TRP brakes. But they still seem to be riding a Shimano drivetrain

It looked to me like a box shifter and derailleur, so I looked it up. I'm positive on the shifter, you can see its very rounded, but I'm not 100% on the derailleur.

We don't ride with saddles because any weight saving helps with climbing when you don't have a motor.

They also don't have dj frame, so I think that would also be a deal breaker. Also, fox suspension.

It's not definite evidence, but Sam pilgrim seems to be on a haibike, due to the motor. he did mention in his leaving ns bikes video that an e-bike would make a climb a lot easier, but this could just be a joke.
