"Do you have any projects to assign at the moment? I'm happy to take on something more complex too."
This was Spantech GmbH’s first time reaching out — and they came with an offer to take on more complex projects. Coincidentally, Cornelius Kapfinger had already been toying with the idea of a fully machined fork crown for some time. When the first fully CNC-machined frames from brands like Pole, ActoFive, and others started making the rounds online, the design work began. But back then, no manufacturer was willing — or able — to take on the challenge.
As you can probably guess, this project is extremely expensive. Let’s be clear: There’s no rational justification for it. If you're asking yourself what the point of this fork is — it’s probably not for you. Demand is hard to predict, so we’re offering it through an open pre-order. We don’t want to limit every product — we’d rather give anyone who’s truly interested the chance to get one.
Availability
The exact delivery time is difficult to predict. We estimate it will take between 3 and 6 months, depending on the total number of pre-orders. We kindly ask anyone who urgently needs a fork or has a fixed deadline for their bike not to place a pre-order. The pre-order itself is free of charge. A lot can happen over the course of 3 to 6 months — bike builds can change, income situations, or personal circumstances. We fully respect any reason that might lead to a cancellation later on. However, we do ask that you only place an order if you're truly sure — and please refrain from joke or non-serious submissions. Intend takes on the financial risk of any cancelled orders. Pre-order period: 2 weeks, via form at: intend-bc.com/shop/onepiece (pre-orders open on June 1 and close on June 15). You can also indicate there if you'd like to receive the new Hover Monocoque shock in the same color: "Tech-Taupe".
Hover Monocoque
Our new Hover Monocoque air shock — which will be officially unveiled before the forks ship — will be available exclusively to One Piece customers in the matching Tech Taupe color. The shock is offered in all metric lengths and stroke options, but only as a pure air spring version — not in the coil spring version shown on the Moto. Please note: It will not be available for reorder later, and changes to the dimensions cannot be made after the pre-order period ends.

Comic (German only)
A product this special deserves a unique presentation. That’s why we’re releasing an accompanying comic that tells the story of the search for
the One Piece — with a twist. (For the non-German speakers... Cornelius embarks on a perilous journey to search for the elusive One-Piece after breaking 4 forks in a year doing ill-advised backflips. He is told about a solution in the Great Line, built after a design originally concocted by the Saudis, but on the way there, he runs into Foxxy and StoneShock pirates. Luckily for him, they are busy fighting each other so Cornelius is left unattended to reach the innermost sanctum of the Great Line where finally his One-Piece dream comes true...or something like that...).
