Hmmm. I'm riding tonight after work. I work for a Japanese company. It's July 20 in Japan right now. Does that count?

This has to be a giant MTB corporate conspiracy to get us riders to buy more stuff. All of the new "standard" parts have been designed to fail at the same time (today), and by making it seem like a harmless, fun-filled day in the woods, we're unknowingly entering in to a war zone of broken plastic and metal. Creating an even newer standard (7/20) is pushing us too far. First it was 142mm, then 150, then boost, then super boost, then mega super boost with cheese... Now its a standard day I'm forced to ride my bike? When does it end bike industry, when does it end...?

It'a actually a way to cash on a different world tradition, established when the first man walked on the moon: the Friend's Day. An Argentinian had the idea of creating a day to celebrate friendship, since on July 20th, 1969 almost the entire world was sharing the experience of the first moon landing.

To celebrate #RIDEMTBDAY, I went out and shot a little edit of my boy today. Good times!
