I recently stumbled across some pretty interesting new helmet technology. It's essentially a sticker with multiple slip layers designed to reduce rotational acceleration during a crash. Check it out:

Applies to pretty much any helmet, can be customized... Question is, would you be willing to stick it to your lid?

OK, now that the ugly American comment is out of the way....this is interesting. Not sure I'd buy it and put it on my helmet, but I like seeing helmet innovation. Just this morning I was reading a story on NFL guys and all of their head issues, it's so gnarly and sad. Hopefully helmet technology continues to evolve and we're in a different place soon.
The next 10 years are going to very interesting with helmet technology.

So... in the short vid above... is the material on the helmet or on that angled surface the helmet strikes?
Just curious because they don't show the side of the helmet.
Depending on the quality of the testing... I'd do it. Maybe they can customize the top layer with varying graphics?
