Could the American Eagle mentioned be Pisgah Forest native Chris Grice (Specialized)? As a first-year elite, I don't imagine him getting the same attention as Finn and Loic, so his dad might want him to move to a new team.

Sounds like it doesn't it, however Elliot Heap on Nukeproof Factory calls Brayton Grandad, and Brayton calls him his Grandson, so I wonder if this is saying that Brayton and Meg Whyte are to be brought into the Nukeproof Factory team?

and the eliot thing - i'm sure it's just typos b/c there are so many variations of spelling the name eliot/elliott/eliott, but Eliot Jackson has one L and one T. would be rad if he was announcing for disco!

One thing I'm super curious to see if is anything happens with Asa Vermette, the Durango based 16 year old that is consistently beating the Pros at NW Cup, Bootleg Canyon, etc. Currently he's riding for DVO and has a GT. It'd be sick if he gets some clout after this week at Nationals and gets picked up.
