I got blocked for sticking up for another rider she was shaming. She's not interested in discussion. Yep, our sport needs to be inclusive for women and people from more diverse backgrounds. I don't think anyone is mad about seeing pics of "chicks." I think that people are questioning the judgement of a group of male athletes who were putting out a product based on the objectification of women, in a sport that is trying to equalize women's role as participating athletes, not relegate them to arm candy and "monster girls."

Have you ever seen a lady in a thong? How about a dozen of them reluctantly swooning over a bunch of dirty bike racing knobheads? I too am a big van of the Vanzacs and was surprised when they did a 90's style calender. I thought they had more sense than that. And I can't believe there are still Monster girls at the SuperCross and MX. Sorry that we have derailed Team Rumours. I dislike that too, but seeing as many people, including Spomer missed it I believe it does need to be talked about.

That's what I was expecting too, was pretty bummed when I saw the posts and what was in the calendar. I'm a big fan of most of Eddy and the Vanzac's shenanigans, the calendar was straight-up offensive.

Pretty sure Specialized wouldn't mention that Ed is on Pivot in one of their promotional pieces..

i wonder where he is going. there is a free spot available at an austrian team, MS Mondraker. I think he would be a good fit. Trummer and the Bulldog would make an awesome team!

Kinda the end of a downward pointing spiral of the lase years in my mind. First they drop Gwin out of nowhere, then lots of freeriders are left standing in the rain and now another nail in the coffin. Seems like they proved what they had to prove (Tues is a DH worthy bike, Tues is a freeride bike, YT as young talent brand with that worldwide casting thing) and now pull the plug on it all. Just seems to me you could do it more gentle?

In one year timeframe, the syndicate lost its 2 young guns. For Loris it was kinda different way of thinking/approach than Peaty. Could it be the same for Luca ? Maybe he is feeling it doesn't work and wants fresh air ?
