These look similar to vaults, which is an awesome thing! Can you possibly make a silver version that will match the previous silver swage stem?

can’t help but think that maybe they’re being cautious, and waiting to see what the market does. I’ve ridden some great 29ers, but I still prefer smaller wheels.

Hahaha, hilarious on weight, such a newb. Yup, it's the $1500 but got it on sale for $1400. I've actually been really selective in my upgrades, selling the stock parts, and finding good deals on eBay. Both the fork and brakes were take offs that never had been ridden but totalled less then $350 for both! As far as the bike, I love it. The suspension linkage works awesome, so well I don't know if I'll need to upgrade the shock. It's very stiff and supportive while pedaling and super supple and grippy on downs and turns. I rode a yeti SB 5.5 in southern Utah last year and I love the bike, it felt awesome, when it came to climbing steeper climbs the front end was so floppy and hard to keep straight, then after test riding a SBG transition scout, with an even slacker head tube, I was amazed to find that it was steady as could be with no discernible wheel flop on the steeper climbs, there is magic in that formula which is why yeti have gone that route. Very positive change in my opinion.

I’m am 5’ 10” and I ride a medium SB 66. I test rode many large bikes last year and found that I prefer the bigger size, that includes a SBG Transition Scout, and from what I can see, the top tube and reach numbers of the sb150 are very similar to the SBG bikes. Hopefully yeti does build a 27.5 wheeled bike with this new Geo, if only to make my next bike choice that much harder. Lol

Oh man did we ever......I haven’t even upgraded to a 27.5 full suss yet(I have a 27.5 hardtail), and I’m already worried they’re gonna go away. I just like my smaller wheels ok?

For some, the fact that it isn’t TLD is part of the appeal. This does look like a very solid option though.
