Additional Info
A build that, like most of my builds seem to do, fell into place by chance. I was originally building up a 26er banshee scream, and did get it rolling, but it just didn't feel that great. Then this bike showed up at a local shop, and the geometry looked quite a bit more reasonable so I snagged it. During that process I also stumbled across Arrow Racing's website, and discovered their still active Ebay store, where I got a set of the heaviest rims I've ever held. A few tens of hours of internet spelunking later I found the tires, and I'd been sitting on the hubs for a special build, so that was that. Everything else was basically parts I had kicking around from the Scream build or just in my closet. I love builds like this so much, partly for just how cool they are, but also all the research and digging involved in sourcing parts, it's just fun.
