I quite enjoy the Oak lever. the stiffer lever feeling helps a bit (IMO) and almost feels like there is more power with less force while pulling hard on the brakes. in Canada Pro MCs are quite expensive with tariff and everything so made more sense for me going with Oak. Having less free stroke would be a nice upgrade...
Interesting brake set up! Anyone else have Maven/Frankenstein brake set up with Maven calipers? Waiting on a bike with Mavens and curious what people has done with different levers. I saw on other forums some people did Maven calipers with shimano levers? May have some trp dhr levers laying around the spare bin parts and would be curious how it...

Conti trail casing is dogsh*t unfortunately. burp like crazy and both tires F/R had wobbles after a week of riding. Would not buy these again.

it doesn’t feel vastly different to the previous Tech 4. The main difference is that the new cam design shortens the free stroke quite a bit, which for me makes the brake feel more direct when you activate it. It’s SUPER easy to feel what it’s doing and when the power comes on. I had to change where I run my levers in the starting position because they bite and ramp up sooner. That overall softness you speak of is still there once you get into the power band more, but I’d say their claim of 6-7% increased power holds...

Finally! A proper electronic DH rear derailleur. I've been wondering when we'd be able to pay $1500 to ruin three derailleurs on the same rock in one race weekend. Can't come fast enough.

One of the reasons I bought a Raaw. Seat tube length and dropper insertion is not great on the Banshee and was worried compared to my Firebird I had previously. After getting used to a 240mm dropper post, there is no coming back. Riding Mount7, BC and all these steep trails around, you really appreciated having the saddle out of...
