$5000 for the frame!? At what point does price sensitivity start to weigh in here? Also, thanks for pointing out price as a weakness but how do you give it anymore than 2 stars in the value dept seems crazy! Can Vital do a $10K Yeti vs $3K Specialized Status review complete with lap times? Give the Specialized a $300 budget to upgrade a few things if the rider choses. Go rally some local trails that are appropriate for an enduro bike. Report back. I'd bet a lot of money a good rider will be pretty much as fast on...

This was very helpful for learning the difference between the Ebike and Pro pads. I have been very underwhelmed by my 220mm rotored Code RSC brakes and will be putting Pro pads on to hopefully give me the bite that I crave and have yet to find since my 2010 Shimano Saint brakes. I wish brake manufacturers would build less "modulation" into their products and allow my fingers to pull softly or slightly less softly to engage the brakes hard instead of needing to squeeze firmly or super firmly for the same effect. Unless I'm lightly dragging to scrub speed...

I've been running the Pro pads in the front and Ebike pads in the rear, mated to Galfer Wave 203mm x 2mm rotors and Magura MT7 Pro calipers/levers for a few months now - the setup is dreamy! The idea with the Ebike compound in the rear was to make them last longer. The difference in bite between them and the Pro's has been nominal since I rarely grab a handful of front brake. Also, this setup is far less noisy then the stock Magura setup, with the added benefit of less modulation. Exactly what I was looking for to...

Thanks! 150 fork, actually. Had to lower stem from what I had it (I like a high stack), but now it's a good balance of DH capability and not having a wandering front wheel on climbs
