"It is NOT a human rights movement".. Disgusting. Also your manifesto is full of opinions discussed as facts, you imply that you don't believe in institutional racism, try to cast yourself as a victim for being privileged (which is pretty well defined- you're just looking) and then you try to say anyone who disagrees with you is prejudiced and doesn't care about fixing things? Garbage, man. Plus you still think you can hop on someone else's property and tell them what to say. That's some Karen shit if I've ever seen it.

is your precious little protected life really affected by it?

Someone wearing a t shirt equates to "shoved down my throat"? Advocating for black people to not be routinely beaten/killed by cops is a political agenda?
Good riddance if you're off to find a new community - you're not welcome here anyway if that's how you feel.

I think this website can freely express their opinion on human rights as they see fit, that's what free speech is all about. Go start your own damn website.

"...but your comment to which I’m responding smacks of commercial bias."

I think we share enough information and data to back up our review findings and observations, so "smacks of commercial bias" seems a bit melodramatic.

Hi! Pedals used: Deity T-Mac, DMR Vault, OneUp Alloy, Kona Wahwah II (both composite and alloy), Nukeproof Horizon. As for trapping heat, I can't say any shoe stands out in particular. I ride a lot in very warm weather, and basically they are all pretty stuffy at the end of a long ride.

For me breathability is a big deal. How did these shoes rate on that scale? And what pedals were used for testing?

Also im surprised by the varying experiences in the coments, and now I'll add my own:
In my experience,
Freerider pros trap heat, and otherwise I agree with the reviewer.
GR-7 have opposite feel from the reviewer to me. Very stiff and no pedal feel. I could never tell where my foot was on the pedal, and I lost my footing the most often on rough sections. Wider fit.
Giro Riddance are grippier for me, less stiff than the shimanos and have better feel. Venting is decent for the class bit I do get hotspots on long rides.
Using one-up aluminium pedals. Wonder how much that influences our differing experiences.

Those trails looks like so much fun I had to stop watching. I would go nuts with all those little compressions.

@kperras, would it be crazy to run this bike with 160 travel up front? My thinking is, with the great pedalling, I can keep it a little steeper and shorter for the typical trail/rowdy trail days around my area, but bump the fork (fox 36- not hard to do) up to 170 for the weekends at the park. Thanks.
