First off, dont garner too much from people saying "I ride tire/wheel/insert X and I do/dont flat every ride". There are simply way too many variables which cannot be understood without a deeper dive into a multitude of factors. Everything from suspension settings to how (in)frequently people check their tire pressure before each ride to regional variations of terrain/rocks to the obvious ones like tire casing choice. That doesn't even touch on different peoples perceptions of how fast or hard they ride. (we've all been on rides with big talkers who are nowhere as fast as they actually believe they...

I don't know what this bike is, but I know it's not a Sunday either. Check out the lower shock mount- Sunday's had the lower shock mount inside the pivot for the lower rocker. Could be the same weird short travel Sunday proto from the first slide?

Actually maybe it is just an early test for the 6Point. I feel like production on that was a 2007 bike year? Fun mod at the time to the 6Point, you could take the rocker from the 7Point and turn it into a lighter weight 7inch travel bike (it might or might not have needed a longer stroke shock, can't remember). Coined the 6Point7 at the time.

Ahhh the 7Point9. That thing was calling out for an angleset (if they existed at the time). Also a prime example of product managers going against bike designers spec. After a conversation on a forum with Dave W he was pretty shocked (hohoho) to find it had been specced with an air shock. That DW link was very much designed around a coil and not the air. It had basically zero mid support. Got a real working over in 2006 Whistler. Turned plenty of heads though so all worth it to a 21 year old me....

2006 Model Year 7point9. I had the 2005 7point7 with the sherman and 5th element. Which eventually I swapped out for a Roco RC and 66 RC2X. Ahhhh, such good times!

there's no "2bliss" labels or graphics on the tires, so i doubt it. at some point i can take the tires off to check for rim tape, but i doubt they're ready to go stock.

Looking at the 24 and I'm ready too, lol. But, I saw this in the review at Singletracks: "The Roval wheels on the Riprock 24″ are not tubeless-ready, which I confirmed with the brand and also disappointingly, in my own garage. The upgraded Riprock Expert 24″ (not tested), which includes a suspension fork, does feature tubeless-ready wheels and tires." Not sure if I want to spend that much for the expert...but it looks like a rad kid's bike.

The Saint brakes are a nice touch. As a huge guy, with dh intentions, I think the alu frame with perfectly coincidental Saint color touches is really classy.
