8/26/2012 6:56pm Food for thought - if a medium length cage X-Horizon derailleur can accommodate a 10-42 tooth cassette, a very compact derailleur could likely handle a typical road cassette used in DH/4X/DS/DJ/slopestyle applications. Clearance anyone?

On an unrelated note: the splits and subsequent placings were all over the place. Josh was 1st at split 1, Atherton 2nd at the 2nd, and Spagnolo 3rd at the 3rd...but beyond that, most of the top 20 were helter-skelter when it came down to splits. Pretty wild, you wonder where people are going to win and lose this race on the course.
