Nice to see a cassette lower than 11 (Reverse Spinal Tap). I still want to see a 9t, but that's minute stuff, and this new system has a lot of cool improvements overall nonetheless.

As an engineer I was frequently billed out to clients at $150+ per hour. What I actually took home was a fraction of that. All businesses have to take a healthy cut to keep the lights on and grow. Call me crazy, but perfectly tuning a derailleur, building a wheel, or rebuilding a fork requires far more talent than vacuuming or bagging groceries. Good mechanics have most definitely put in countless hours to hone their craft.

Lots of new addition, a couple shake ups, and a couple new groups. Orange back in the game with Dirt, loving the Pivot team, and interesting to see a couple people like the Shaw brothers starting their own squad. 2014 ought to be interesting.

Can't we just say bye bye to the UCI? EWS is proving that independent organizations can achieve great results if the right people are in place. If it is feasible, it would be great to see a DHWS, and just close the door to the UCI. The mountains and current event organizers already have the blue prints, so [broad stroking] the only change would be who is "in charge". Just spit balling, but I think we're close to being able to pull this off.
