but they have high value bikes. 1500 chf alu gravel bike with grx, 2500 chf carbon gravel bike with carbon wheels and grx, that’s what selling and they can offer it at d2c prices at the lbs.

i'd be more worried if Cube ever decides to attack in the US. they seem to run a pretty lean business, they sell mostly all the bikes through pre-orders and you can't really order up more bikes during the season. therefore, each season they can start with new stock and never have old stock piling aroung like specialized or trek...

A friend of mine in the Industry told me that he had heard from one of the reps that Orbea was withdrawing their US presence (at least in terms of inventory) due to tariffs. It was one of the reason's I bought my 25' Wild as I was assuming I wouldn't be able to get one easily next year or especially at a discount like it was right now. That would all indicate to me they aren't going to suddenly put a bunch of money into a North American based racing effort if they aren't even trying to sell more...

those are the ones they refer to as the green age ones (due to the sks seals), yours probably are having the older damper but the black racing bros seals

Yes we did this test with 6-axis sensor on front axle and handlebar. It records 2000 points of data every second. To me it was very noticeable with and without, easily could be detected on a blind test. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/first-look-countersycles-tuned-mass-dampe…

50% is a bit much, lower it to 40ish and it can be true (i work in a suggested retail price only store, we only discount stuff if we have odd sizes left or are forced to by companies like trek who reduce their prices of current bikes in the middle of the season, at least they offered margin compensation...
