whatever, I'd buy it just because it's a GT Pantera. LOVED that bike back in the day...

Wish the high end model was brushed aluminum. Then it would be perfect!!!

I went w/ Laguna because of the emotion it brings to me when riding there. It makes me feel like I'm in the spiritual homeland of the sport. Plus, there's such a unique, chill SoCal vibe there.

The guide is more for the external posts. We spec the LEVs on some models and this comes in handy.

Why does she use different saddles?

For the Force it's not adviseable to mount a lower bashguard (no ISCG + a bit of rearward rotation). The bike isn't exactly meant for that anyway as it's more heavy duty trail than EWS race bike. She might just be covering up the FD nub with the guide. I'd have to ask the mechanics.

For the Sanction I can see that perhaps she's running just the lower guide for deflection and gliding over rocks. The BB on that bike is pretty low. It doesn't add a lot of weight but can give piece of mind.

confirmed size medium frames for anneke. from a product manager at GT - "The frame can be stealth; but due to shock placement, if the rider wants to run a longer drop post they might choose to run an external version so to allow more post insertion into the frame." - anneke confirmed...more

I'd like to do another TP...if Ash is willing to let me! Unfortunately I was not feeling fit enough to enter for 2016, plus the new dates were a potential conflict for a major work event. Maybe in 2017

Honestly, I think the rate of change has been unnecessarily fast. It has confused riders as to what they should buy. It has pissed off dealers who get stuck marking down perfectly good merch because it's not the latest most in thing, even if it was only ... more »

Slack HTA aren't the sole component of it. A long eff TT plays a huge part. Get your body positioned best, low BB keeps COM low for cornering and stability. The HTA increases proportional to useage of bike for GT. Fury > Sanction > Force > Sensor ... more »
