My theory is that these guys feel that, with the new format, top 30 riders are going to see an increase in exposure and potential revenue. Man made the coolest international race series there was. Had photographers and pros jumping there to work/ride for free cause it was exciting. then he ruined that series making it “commercial” and ruined interest in covering and watching it. Nobody wants to watch pros race a local enduro race the whole draw was the new locations, epic days, and unreal stage lengths. now he’s ruining dh selling out the same way. he literally states in his podcast the tracks are too long to broadcast a full run which is exactly what he is promising fans by this discovery switch. Just noticed that it sounds like Max Beaupre will be getting in the EDR mix this year. 17th in Sugarloaf as a first showing is pretty solid!

..Great rider and pretty nice guy and its cool seeing someone who's not chasing the clock getting a good contract. Also great to see 7Mesh getting more MTBers on board, their gear is the best on the market IMO. Iago seems like a perfect fit for them and he makes people wanna rides bikes.... Honestly this news of him moving to CD is more exciting than Jesse's and Jack's move - the whole build up on Team Rumours was overrated.. Congrats Iago.
