So that frame looked welded. Are they also making welding rod? Does it machine without catching on fire? How is it with the usual mag corrosion?

For myself MTB was great cross training for Moto. I finally gave up moto due to lack of close riding areas here in SoCal and overall expense. MTB fills the need. So to answer your question, Yes it is a new skill set to learn and you have to work at it to get to the top of the hill...

I found that ammonia based cleaners eat the mirror finish and turn them milky. Must be why instructions say clean with water only!
