Great episode. Appreciate the support of USDH, I think it's only going to continue to grow. The comment about Lars making sure he's paying attention to announcing for the lesser classes and giving them the support made me think of ye oldene dayes racing at Plattekill, where Laszlo, owner/operator/announcer of the race series there would be in the booth the whole weekend, giving everyone the same treatment, somewhere where Lars used to race, and I once came in THIRD PLACE of an expert class 30+ men's race, and Laszlo made me feel like a fuckin' champion coming through the finish...

1/30/2025 10:42am Joe, did Fox get back to you? The required tool ( 398-01-114 Tooling: Custom Spanner, 2-Pin, Specialized Genie, Bearing Housing) is not yet being produced by Fox, or so one of their tech reps at the 800 phone number claimed.

Looks good, but 2 things for me stand out in the negative. 1/ chainring mounting, that's a deal killer, If I can't be guaranteed to find one in in a nearby shop if I bend/break a chainring if I'm away on holiday, that's a NOPE! #DOWNWITHPROPRIETARY (or near to proprietary as dammit) 2/ 155 and 160mm would be nice. That said they sound like an excellent crank. :-)

As the swingarm pivots, it pulls on the black link which in turn pulls on the silver link. The silver link is attached to the frame just above the bottom bracket. When the silver link is pulled it rotates counterclockwise (when viewed from the driveside) and pushes into the shock.

Such a crappy situation. I'm fine changing the schedule if you absolutely have to, but it's pretty merciless treatment to punish someone for showing up on time. No exceptions for the little guy? No grace? The UCI sucks.

Awesome video, but so frustrating. It's pathetic what the UCI and its partners are doing to DH and right before our very eyes. Privateers are the life blood to the European Cup and soon they are just going to have Loic racing himself 5 times a year on his home trails in France.
