2/12/2025 1:44pm I believe this guy actually engineered a similar air spring as the Fox38 to be used in other forks, maybe try this one out before you try to modify a fox spring to fit a zeb fork. https://www.instagram.com/rgtec_bike_components Luft Fusion air spring for Fox and Rockshox forks | eBay

2/11/2025 4:40pm Yes, it seems Fox has the 0 token 38 setup dialed like linear. Have a Fox 38 (170) on one of our bikes, Meta AM, it is way different to my Progressive 180 Zeb with 0.

2/11/2025 4:37pm God no, 38 the most linear air spring on a fork I've come across. Especially with no tokens and adequate pressure. A freshly serviced 38 is eerily close to coil, I've converted every fox fork I've had to a smashpot except the 38.

2/11/2025 4:37pm 0 tokens and 5-10% more pressure than recommended is a good combo I find. My 38 is the first iteration with the Grip2, so less hydraulic support. The usual mid stroke hammock of airspring is not perceivable with this setup, there is enough ramp up from the airspring itself to avoid bottom outs with my 180mm airspring. It doesn't have that stictionless feeling for the first 5-10mm of travel like a coil, but as I said, freshly serviced it's pretty close. Worth a try, if you don't like it go back to your previous setup. Cost nothing.

2/11/2025 4:36pm I do find that the 38 air spring is pretty happy in a ton of configurations, all of them rideable. No tokens with higher pressures work super well, but so does more sag and adding in tokens. I've run anywhere between 118 PSI to 96 PSI and fond that I can make something work well in all those configurations. It's actually kind of annoying since I waffle with my air spring more than I ought to. Though I do have to admin that 5-10% more pressure sounds like a lot. I usually run mine (in 170mm) with a touch less...

2/11/2025 12:43pm Hello, I like Bikes, and I have to many. Going to sell a few. Just need one. Nor-Cal, BBQ is fun, Freeride and DH for the Win. Mostly ride Bay Area, Coast and some oddly good Deer Trails.

2/11/2025 6:37am Brilliant. North America take notice. Maybe the Walton's (Walmart) will build the best wc track in the USA, or three of them here!? They could be the Mercedes of the iconic dh, but also own it and the broadcasting, or work a deal with some else here!

2/8/2025 6:01pm Would be huge for frame manufacturer that won the chance to equip all them. Could put ex wc privateers on series with chance to win spots on wc teams. Lots of marketing and business opportunities with a new series. Also gaide a north america hardline, the series could run 6 dh courses in US and Canada over 4-5 months. 2centz
