There was one move in there that had nothing to do with the bike that really impressed me. When he first gets to the slabs of rock, he does a big up, lands on rear wheel, pedals the wheele into a j-zap up the next big shelf. Tech.

If he was somehow able to regulate his adrenaline after 3ing that drop (as well as last year), he'd be a 3x Rampage champion without a doubt. Of course, NOBODY would be able to keep it in check after stomping something that big...let alone after 3ing it. It's just great to see him back to form after all those years where he was hurting himself big and often.

9/30/2014 10:30pm It was painful at times to listen to them during this and many other runs. He launched that hip between his drops like nobody and they were just silent. Don't even get me started on how bad they butchered a lot of the riders names/nicknames.

9/30/2014 10:27pm Yeah, but it was pretty clear the announcers didn't know what they were talking about half the time. I am super stoked Andreu won it and that he did it on a run like that: BIG mountain. You could tell after first runs they were rewarding creative lines and the dodgy-ness of them more than tricks for which I am very glad. Between Andreu, Zink, Kyle and a few others I was left slack jawed that the things they were attempting was even doable. How the hell they thought those moves were ridable to being with?!
