Such a nice bike. So much want! A bit heavy though, but it seems like it pedals well. Side note: surely the Signature edition is the top of the line build rather than the Team addition, based on the premium you pay?

@tristan_mayor and @pinch flat Yes! Sandwich boost compatible.. LOL actually it's my own 3D printed container for medicine, snack and other small things - still work in progress though and it's more of function than looks

You are correct, this was tested on a 30mm width, 26mm internal Stans rim. I decided not to upgrade my wheelset just to do a tire review. There are many riders out there that have an existing setup, and might not want (or have the $$) the get a new rim or wheelset. I chose to test the tires as a 'normal rider' and see how they would perform on my standard ride. The tire worked super well as far as grip is concerned, and I couldn't perceive any casing squirm, which is one of the only downfalls I could...

I'm running 2.5 WTs on DT 25mmID rims and they're fine. Just can't go as low in the pressures as the wider rims, but I find 20psi front and 25psi rear is OK. I'm around 82kg kitted up.

I used the tire as a front only after about a month of riding as both front and rear, and it is definitely better as a front in my opinion. I think it would pair well with a 2.3 DD casing tire in the rear, still tough, but not as grippy or heavy, and it would allow the front to track super well while the back end might slide a bit (in a good way)

Assuming you'd use this up front, with a faster rolling tyre on the rear..Would't use the Assegai as a rear tyre.

3/25/2018 7:45pm I have a 2.5 WT Aggressor on my CF9 Strive and it fits just fine. It is on a 25mm ID rim though.
