If you have the means, the best answer is don't compromise and go n+1. The X/C full suspension bike or hardcore hardtail (built to whatever capability preference you desire) pairs very nicely with a 160-170mm long-travel enduro bike and this quiver covers all the kinds of trails and riding styles nicely where I live. I have never had any use or desire for the mushy middle, average at all-the-things "trail" bike even going back to when my personal bike lust all started in the mid-2000's, but I understand where it fits into the market, and how it's ideal for much...
