Dude i go thru a pair of snowboard boots pretty much every season. My last pair was $550. Its not that big of a deal. Running shoes are changed more frequently.

I simply can't comprehend how people can complain about longevity of shoes, when at $150, they are less than the average set of grippy tires. I have gone through a set of tires in a week of racing or riding in Whistler, and well, nobody seems to complain about that. Why is one product at, at $150 used up in a week and it is fine, and another product (also $150), lasting 'only' a year not acceptable?

Hope he succeeds, and I'm interested to try a pair of the flats even though I'm not totally sold on the looks. BUT sspomer, "a designer who spent years creating products for others,"...his linkedin doesn't have a design title anywhere in his history...that'd be like calling the armchair 'engineers' on forums actual engineers. Seems like the dude has product management histroy buttoned up though.

THIS EXACTLY. Looking at the specs it looked more like an early 2000's Freeride bike. 170MM Travel, 2.6" tires, 180mm rear post mount...

"so we won’t go into any long-term durability speculation here. We plan to keep running the brakes for a good few months now, and we’ll come back to update this review when the time comes." This is the kind of zero BS that Vital has been always fantastic at and I hope it keeps it up.

dirtworks911 Liked a product review Industry Nine Torch Classic Rear Hub

Out of the box, you will quickly realize that Industry Nine makes one of the best looking hubs on the market. Their smooth lines, quality anodized finish, multiple colorways make them a real condenser for someone in the market for customization. In addition to this, the weight of their hubs makes them even more appealing. Throwing in a freehub that has 120 points of engagement makes the Classic Torch hubs one of the best all-round hubs on the market. Performance: Looking past the fancy outside, the heart of the Torch hub is it’s freehub. Just like many of the high...

These multi-media articles are awesome! Please don't mimic the news outlets that post articles with both a video and written story but the copy in the written story is nearly a word-for-word transcript of the video dialogue. In the eyes of a former journalist, this article was a good mix of both, so hats off to you Spomer. Please keep on bringin' the heat.
