6/22/2022 2:04pm Interesting GX AXS talk, i recently got a GX AXS - shop installed But we cant get it to go Over far enough in the "easiest" gear, with the limit unwound all the way, Its like this on Two wheelsets, one with GX 52T and other Shimano cassettes. on a Carbon stumpjumper evo 2022 if it matters. itll rotate and...

6/22/2022 1:55pm So that would mean 95% of "the other site" Shouldnt own a wrench, none of them can bleed Sram properly.

6/19/2022 1:23am High pivot isnt the Magic to a DH bike. Look at all the enduro bikes with HP yet where are they? The Results from HP actually more come from less pedal kick and the suspension working "free'er" than the rearward axle. many have reported the Rear axle path can feel slower due to the energy of making the rear wheel...

6/19/2022 12:15am Kinda, This style of Printing is reasonably high tech and not alot of it is even used and we've never seen it before in MTB. I honestly cant see spesh forking out for this kinda tech just for prototyping. Guess we all have to wait an see.

6/18/2022 8:39pm I wonder if Atherton's have anything to do with this bike? Looks like they are maybe providing the proto parts/bike for spesh? IMO, Atherton's Manufacturing lets them easily prototype parts in-house so could be more of this from more brands in the future?

6/6/2022 4:05pm interesting, i think that Manfs need to get Quality right in this instance where those inserts are tight, the Canyon ones are good as they have a small screw that holds them in aswell and a high torque(a trick is to use carbon paste on them aswell.

6/6/2022 2:01pm Sorry to hijack the Topic but: SHOULD Every bike come with replaceable threaded inserts??? After owning a Canyon bike with these inserts im a huuuge fan, Technically should make the frame last longer in situations. I remember stripping one on a Rocky Altitude '21 on an alloy frame and They werent going to warranty it - I sent my Torque...

6/5/2022 2:21pm "...the span of the bolt is too long" is quite a factor in this. You'd need a hell of a flex in the frame to break a bolt. Went back to the (second) In Depth video and it's a standard allen bolt with a standard thread length (for the given bolt length). It looks like it's an M6 bolt? I'm going to go with an M6 bolt as it doesn't seem like it's an M8 and a lot of bikes use a size 5 allen wrench for the shock bolts, which means an M6 bolt for a standard allen bolt...

6/2/2022 1:53pm Exactly why External Rear brakes need to still be a thing, If running AXS, nothing would be going through the frame and thus no cable noise lol GT's old force was Great, the cables ran the down the middle, ontop of downtube, kinda tucked in. Wish brand would work on External routing more, Hide it with plastic covers or something...

6/2/2022 1:48pm Both my gravel bike and road bike have FSA's ACR system and there are pros and cons: Pros - Looks really clean - It's easy AF to route housing and hoses through the frame (BEFORE you install the fork) - It's easy to install sound deadening housing and hose wrap - Aero - Quiet - Great for number plates Cons - It's annoying to install forks and get all the cables and hoses gathered – and the more cables and hoses you have, the worse it is - More shifting friction due to tighter housing bends - It's not sealed...like...
