6/25/2025 3:49am Kaha dead stroke seems the easiest to get ultrashort. Mine is 6-7mm. The firmness is unrivaled. However, the lever shape is not great and no tooless on the trail reach/bite adjust. The bite point grub screen requires removal of the lever from the bar in my experience. Parts long term are also a concern. The hopes seem like the best...

5/19/2025 2:29am Anyone use the hayes dominion hoses on hope tech v4? Found some for practically free and they are super stiff and beefy. ID is 2.5mm vs 2.1mm for the standard hoses. The standard hope barb seems to be too small but would it work with an olive compressing? Any idea on how this would change the character of the brakes?

4/19/2025 5:19am Yes, cannot do a brand new bleed like this. It's for the last bit of air. Truely awesome now. Why can't they just just a bleeding edge port on lever and caliper?

4/17/2025 4:35pm I invertered my bike for 2 hours and opened the caliper port. Sucked out a little air and replaced same volume with fluid. It’s amazing now

4/17/2025 4:27am Random thought: I think the replacement of the bladder at the end is the most difficult part to avoid any air. Why not bleed upside down and use the caliper bleed port to make sure absolutely no air?
