I like a mullet for more than just it being a fad, I’m way to short for a full 29er but I like the way the bigger front wheel deals with holes and square edge hits. I found that the 29er front wheel on blown out bike park trails with huge bomb holes feels better than a 27.5 So if my fork is dialed, Geometry is up to date, and tires and tire size are the same that world cuppers run. Then am I allowed to look at mulleting my bike? Or do I still need a reality check?

Skeen what you are really calling for is the end of a society. I used the best source for the definition. The one the most people use. The one that is accepted in real academia and makes no reference to color of your skin. If you want to throw out the dictionary, great, but you are also throwing out any semblance of a society, too. What is your aim? Anarchy? Again, its clear most people arguing the other side of this did not go to school to learn how to fix or build something but they did go to school...

For those that don't want to go google the definition; "a social division in a traditional society consisting of families or communities linked by social, economic, religious, or blood ties, with a common culture and dialect, typically having a recognized leader." Seems a pretty appropriate use of the word "tribe" to me.

I see your point, but 'Tribe' has been in used in Europe for centuries as well as other parts of the world. From all I see it originated in Rome /Mediterranean area. This particular word isn't anyone's to 'own'. Yeti is a private company and is free to change as they see fit, but this isn't appropriation anymore than a restaurant selling Italian dishes , Hispanic dishes, Thai ,etc outside the 'home' country.

I don't know if the weight savings are that noticeable but the shifting is soo much more crisp, you will for sure notice. The best part is how much longer the X01 setup seems to stay...
